Eastern Airlines DC-3

A commercial airliner model involved in one of the most famous early UFO encounters. On July 24, 1948, pilots Clarence Chiles and John Whitted were flying an Eastern Airlines DC-3 when they reported a glowing, cigar-shaped object passing their aircraft. The incident became a major case for Project Sign.
