United States Army G-2

The intelligence directorate of the United States Army. During the early years of the modern UFO era, G-2 officers were responsible for gathering and analyzing intelligence on domestic and foreign aerial threats. They frequently coordinated with the Air Force and FBI on early flying saucer reports.
