Alaska

The largest US state, located in the extreme northwest of North America. Due to its strategic location during the Cold War, Alaska was heavily fortified with radar stations and air bases. Declassified files contain numerous reports of UAP tracked on radar or intercepted by fighter jets in Alaskan airspace, notably the 1986 Japan Airlines Flight 1628 incident.
