Gulf of Oman

A gulf that connects the Arabian Sea with the Strait of Hormuz. Similar to the Persian Gulf, it is a zone of heavy naval activity. Declassified reports from carrier strike groups and maritime patrol aircraft in the Gulf of Oman have occasionally included sightings of unidentified aerial and transmedium phenomena.

A strategic naval operating area where US and allied forces have recorded UAP incidents during maritime patrols.
