United States Coast Guard

The maritime security, search and rescue, and law enforcement service branch of the US Armed Forces. Coast Guard cutters and personnel occasionally reported UFOs over coastal waters and the Great Lakes. They are most famous in UFO lore for capturing photographic evidence, such as the 1952 Salem, Massachusetts UFO photograph taken by a Coast Guardsman through a laboratory window.
