Agena Target Vehicle

An uncrewed spacecraft used by NASA during Project Gemini to practice orbital rendezvous and docking techniques. Astronauts occasionally reported unidentified objects near their spacecraft that were later evaluated by skeptics and investigators as likely sightings of the Agena or its associated debris.
