Counter Intelligence Corps

An intelligence agency within the United States Army active during World War II and the early Cold War. CIC agents were frequently dispatched to interview UFO witnesses, secure physical evidence, and investigate the potential foreign origin of anomalous craft. They played a significant role in early field investigations before the Air Force fully consolidated UFO research.
