United States Department of Justice

The United States Department of Justice is the federal executive department responsible for the enforcement of the law and administration of justice. While not primarily a UAP investigative body, the DOJ and its subordinate agencies have been involved in investigating hoaxes, fraud, and the unauthorized disclosure of classified materials related to UFOs. It also handles Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) litigation regarding classified UAP records.
