Howard M. McCoy

Colonel Howard M. McCoy was the Chief of the Air Materiel Command's Intelligence Department at Wright Field (later Wright-Patterson AFB). He played a pivotal role in the establishment and operation of Project Sign, the Air Force's first official UFO investigation program.

Instrumental in the early technical and intelligence analysis of recovered UAP data and sighting reports at Wright-Patterson AFB.
