The capital and most populous city of Ukraine, formerly part of the Soviet Union. In historical intelligence files, Kyiv is noted for its scientific and aerospace research facilities. More recently, Ukrainian astronomers operating out of Kyiv have published observational papers on UAP over the region, drawing attention from the global defense and scientific communities.
