Piper Cub

A popular, lightweight civilian aircraft manufactured by Piper Aircraft. Due to its widespread use in the mid-20th century, many early civilian UFO sightings were reported by pilots flying Piper Cubs. Its slow speed and low altitude capabilities made it common for general aviation and aerial observation.
