Fourth United States Army

A field army of the United States Army, historically headquartered at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. During the late 1940s, the Fourth Army's intelligence division was involved in investigating UFO reports in the American Southwest, including early flying disc sightings and the recovery of anomalous materials in its jurisdiction.
