Quinn Tamm

Quinn Tamm was an Assistant Director of the FBI under J. Edgar Hoover, heading divisions including the Identification Division and the FBI Laboratory before retiring in 1962 to lead the International Association of Chiefs of Police. His documented FBI work was in forensic identification and laboratory science rather than the domestic-intelligence chain that handled flying-saucer reports. Any appearance of his name in declassified UFO-era files should be treated as routine bureau routing, not evidence of a specific role in UFO investigations.
