Also: Von Karman
Dr. Theodore von Karman was a Hungarian-American aerospace engineer and physicist who helped found the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and chaired the U.S. Air Force Scientific Advisory Board (1946-1955). In that capacity he advised the Air Force on aerospace science during the early Cold War, and the advisory board's records touch peripherally on early aerial-phenomena reviews. There is no strong evidence that he personally led or was central to evaluating specific UFO/flying-disc reports.
Top aerospace advisor to the USAF whose expertise was used to evaluate the possibility of UAP being advanced terrestrial aircraft.
